On May 31, chefs Robert Lizotte (Edward Street Market Bistro & Catering), Ted Reader (Ted’s World Famous BBQ) and Marc Thuet (Petite Thuet) will be cooking up barbecue to raise money to fight cancer.
Reader is presenting a rotisserie of bacon-wrapped chicken thighs and a rotisserie of beef sirloin. Thuet will be cooking his 72-hour beef ribs. Lizotte is doing his take on pulled pork. The event, which also features a performance by Kim Mitchell, will be held in the lot outside the Edward Street Market Bistro, at 14785 Yonge St. in Aurora. Tickets are $150, include drinks and can be purchased from the restaurant. Money raised goes to various cancer charities, including Ride to Conquer Caner and Hospice King-Aurora.
